Well done to all who subscribed in the Charlestown and surrounding areas for the bucket collection in support of the people of Haiti who suffered another human disaster in the shape of an earthquake that caused huge destruction and damage across the island recently.
Westport lady Gina Heraty continues to do so much for the people of this region in terms of providing support and shelter and there was a terrific response across the country to a bucket collection in aid of the Haitian people with local lady Angie Casey coordinating the Charlestown response. She was deeply appreciative of the fantastic support she received from the people of Charlestown and its hinterland and wants to express her sincere thanks to all who contributed so willingly and generously.
