New businesses open on The Square

It’s always good to see some new business open in town with the town centre, or more to the point, The Square, seeing three new premises opening up in the last month or so.

The Home Savers franchise has opened a store on the site of the old Honan’s supermarket with the premises being extensively renovated and brought up to speck to cater for the modern market. There has been steady footfall through the doors as they stock a huge range of products and operate as a discount store with lots of bargains to be had in all lines of stock.

The Maloney brothers Dermot and Gary who run the Connacht Cleaning Company have opened an office just a couple of doors up from Home Savers as they provide a contact point to the public for the large range of cleaning services they provide in both the domestic and commercial markets.

Another notable addition to the street has been the opening of a phone and repair shop called Fone Guyz which has phones for sale, with trade-ins, phone repairs, internet and printing just some of the many services available and on offer to the public who welcome the addition of this three new businesses and hope they receive the support they need to thrive and flourish into the future.

It’s always nice to see some life being breathed back into the traditional business heartland of the town and here’s wishing the new businesses and their respective owners all the very best and many happy and busy hours of trading in the months and years ahead.
