Mass returns

The daily and weekly Masses have returned following the lifting of the level 5 restrictions which means the usual daily 10am and regular weekend services are now open and available to the general public with strict guidelines in place with no more than fifty people allowed to attend any Mass and service.

The return of the Mass ceremonies is greatly welcomed by many in the parish and general community with the relaxation in the restrictions allowing some form of worship and Mass attendance just in time for the Christmas season.

The church will be hoping to out a plan in place to cater for what’s generally the busiest time of the year in terms of Mass goers and attendance with extra Masses being put in place just one of the many considerations being given as we prepare for a Christmas like no other with the spectre of Covid-19 hanging over our every move and action.

The return of Mass however is a huge boost to the morale of many in the community and as they can return to the house of prayer with all the necessary guidelines and measures being adhered to and put in place to ensure the well being and safety of all is being maintained at all times.
