In association with the Charlestown Development Association, East Mayo Athletics Club are holding their first Litter Pick.
The group will meet at the Old Vocational School at Saturday, July 18, at 10am and aim to be finished by 1pm. They are urging as many adults members to turn out where possible to help make the local walking routes and town, in general, a cleaner and more welcoming place. This is a great opportunity to promote community interaction and work to make the town a better place to live and visit.
Children are welcome but must be accompanied and supervised by an adult for the duration. Gloves, binbags and pickers will be provided. The organisers ask all participants to adhere to the strict guidelines laid out by the HSE and NPHET in terms of social distancing and best hygiene practices.
Your support would be most appreciated as the group strives to improve and enhance our community and portray it in the best possible light for the summer months and beyond.
