Calling all business owners and community members!
A meeting will take place on Thursday, 2nd March at 8pm in Charlestown Arts Centre to address the litter concerns of Charlestown and its surrounding townlands.
All business owners and community members are requested to attend to put measures in place to eliminate and prevent the litter that is increasing in the area. Ideally, all businesses that provide ‘take-away’ products or typically have cigarette butts thrown on the street in front of their establishments should attend so we can together put measures in place to address the issues.
Townlands, Streets and Housing Estate representatives are encouraged to attend so we can address the various issues that are causing concern in our neighbourhoods.
If you are proud of where you live and refuse to see it ruined by the presence of litter, then come along to the meeting on Thursday night. We can all do our bit to keep our community tidy.
Respect your community. Be proud of where you live!
