Kay McIntyre retires

Congratulations and best wishes to Kay McIntyre, Church Street, Charlestown, who has decided to step away from the St Vincent De Paul Society after many years of dedicated and steadfast commitment to the work and spirit of the Society.

Kay is to be thanked most sincerely for the wonderful work she did over the years with the local branch of the St Vincent De Paul Society. The work of the St Vincent De Paul is conducted in a quiet and unobtrusive manner away from the glare of the spotlight and never seeks attention or acclaim and Kay bought very easily into that. It was in her nature to work quietly, diligently and efficiently and she was a highly valued member of the society who served in many roles during her long and stellar service and brought real presence, competence and leadership during her time as secretary and president respectively.

On behalf of the society and the community at large we would like to express our thanks and gratitude to Kay for the tremendous work she did and wish her continued good health and happiness for many more years in the future.
