A free Health Screen is available to all men on Friday, June 16th, from 10am until 1pm in Charlestown CBD Complex.
In the run up to Father’s Day on June 18th, it is International Men’s Health Week.
In Ireland, men experience a disproportionate burden of ill-health and die too young (on average, they die four and a half years younger than their female counterparts).
Men’s Health Week is designed to
- Heighten awareness of preventable health problems for males of all ages.
- Support men and boys to engage in healthier lifestyle choices / activities.
- Encourage the early detection and treatment of health difficulties in males.
The Health Screening is open to all men and no booking is required.
