EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT FOR EAST MAYO AC and East Mayo Special Olympics

We are delighted to share our plans for 2025 with you all…

Since our formation in 2019, we have been working behind the scenes to bring our track development to life for our 250 members and it’s the enthusiasm, energy and commitment of our committee that will bring this to fruition this year.

This Spring, work will commence on our 6 lane floodlit 200m synthetic grass running track, with a 3g Astro in the centre, long jump, throwing area and new cross country training layout.

Situated in the centre of Charlestown Co Mayo this €400k investment in an athletics hub will undoubtedly attract more participants, foster local talent and signal a turning point in athletics within our community.
