St. James’s Church, Charlestown, will be free re-open on Monday, June 29th for the public celebration of Mass and the sacraments.
This is welcome news indeed for all parishoners. Prior to opening plans have to put in place to ensure in so far as possible and practical that hygiene, distance and whatever other protocols are recommended, are in place. It is hoped to have those protocols confirmed and in order in the coming days and weeks leading up to the re-opening date of June 29.
All volunteers to help implement the recommendations would be most welcome.
