The club’s overall Player of the Year was Siofra McGuinness in recognition for the outstanding season she had with the club where she starred for the U-13’s and also represented Mayo at U-13 level. Siofra is a very dedicated and talented young lady with an excellent attitude who gives 100 percent every time she takes to the field. She trains hard and prepares well and is very much a team person who has really come to the fore in the last twelve to eighteen months and looks to have a bright future ahead of her. Well done Siofra and it’s obvious she’s inherited much of her talents from her mother Eileen.

The club congratulated all the players who won awards and extended a heartfelt thanks to the coaches who invested such time, energy and commitment in the training and preparation of the teams who did the club proud in each of their respective grades and divisions. Sincere thanks also to the parents for their support in so many ways most especially the transporting of players to and from training and matches and the club looks forward to more of the same next year.

Special thanks to guest Gerry Murray for making the presentations and for his words of wisdom and thanks to Fr Johnson for making the Pastoral Centre available for the evening.
