Traditional Irish music sessions continue in Finan’s Bar, Main Street, Charlestown, on the first Sunday and the third Thursday of every month. All are welcome to come along and listen or join in as some local musicians come together and play a lovely array of many of our best known and most famous Irish tunes medleys.
A CD compilation, featuring many of Irish traditional music’s best-known tunes, is currently available in Finan’s bar at the very reasonable price of €15 and it might make for a lovely gift for someone at Christmas time as it has a some classic tunes and medleys, many of which are renowned the world over.
