Charlestown Sarsfields GAA Club in association with Harrington Concrete and O’Donnell’s TotalHealth Pharmacy are set to hold a fundraising event – An Afternoon With Mickey Harte.
This event is a fundraiser, aimed at generating vital funds for the resurfacing of the road and entrance into the CDB Sports Complex/Fr O’Hara Park, which is currently in an unsatisfactory condition and in urgent need of repair.
This much anticipated event will take place on Friday, 31st March in The Radison Blu Royal Hotel, Golden Lane, Dublin.
Mickey Harte, current manager of Tyrone Gaelic football team, will oversee the day’s main events. Mickey Harte is a well respected man within the Gaelic football community. However, Mickey’s talents do not lie solely on the football pitch. This man has delivered motivational and leadership talks nationwide. These talks draw on mickey’s own personal experiences of teamwork within the sporting world, and how such teamwork can be applied in the business environment.
Mickey will also be joined by a number of special guests for an afternoon of entertainment. Special guests include former Mayo football players, John Casey and Billy Joe Padden, alongside former Dublin footballer, Ciarán Whelan. Compère for the afternoon will be Après Match’s, Barry Murphy. Some other well known GAA stars will also make an appearance on the day – giving football fanatics a day to remember.
This event is proving to be very popular as a significant number of tickets have already been sold. Tickets are priced at €1,500 for a table of 10 or €150 per person. The club have a limited number of rooms available at the hotel at a special rate.
