Hard luck to the Charlestown Athletic Under-13 team who were defeated by Glenhest Rovers in their final game of the season.
The lads lacked for nothing in terms of effort or commitment with lady luck eluding them in front of goal. They can take heart from some fine performance in the league over the course of the season with lots of positives to be taken as they competed with the best teams in the division and played with some real style and panache.
The management are hoping to keep the training going in the coming weeks and months (weather permitting of course) as they look to build on the potential and promise the squad showed with a view to being even more competitive and successful next season.
