The Charlestown, Bellaghy & Districts Events Committee are delighted to announce details for the upcoming Christmas Festival.
This year’s festival will be filled with music, food, drinks and fun for all the family to enjoy.
The festival will run from Friday, 2nd December – Sunday, 4th December.
The following is a list of events scheduled for the Christmas Festival: 
Friday 2nd December
6:00pm – Children’s Christmas Movie Night in the Arts Centre
Saturday 3rd December
2:00pm – Mini Christmas Market on the Square
2:00pm – Christmas Crackers Kiddies Shoot at Shutter Fever
2:30pm – Santa will arrive on his Sleigh
2:40pm – Official Opening of Santa’s Grotto
5:00pm – Entertainment from the Foxford Brass Band
5:30pm – Lighting of the Christmas Tree & the Town lights
Sunday, 4th December
1:30pm – Santa will be in his Grotto while Mrs Claus will entertain the children with her storytelling.
To add to the magical atmosphere, there will be carol singing and face painting.
Also, a shop local promotion will be running throughout the weekend. By shopping local, you are putting money back into your local community. Avail of the many discounts and offers that will be in place during the shop local promotion. Shop local posters will be displayed on the windows of all participating businesses!
