The Charlestown Athletic Soccer Club weekly 50/50 draw, sponsored by Claudio’s Takeaway, Main Street, Charlestown, has been put into cold storage for a couple of weeks due to the Covid-19 outbreak which restricts movements in and out of public places.
The committee hopes to resume the draw in the very near future with updates to be had on the club’s Facebook page. For now, they like all other clubs groups and organisations have to grin and bear as the virus continues to intrude into all aspect of our social existence.
