Ireland West Airport Knock will host its 2nd annual Runway Fun Run on Saturday, 27th May at 7pm.
Last year’s run was greatly anticipated, as it was the first time in the airport’s history that the runway was opened to the public for such an event. The 2016 Run witnessed a large amount of people take to the airport’s runway to complete a 5km charity run.
Earlier this year, staff at Ireland West Airport Knock nominated three charities to benefit from their fundraising efforts in 2017.
The chosen charities are:
- Mayo Cancer Support
- Western Alzheimers
- Western Care
This promises to be a truly enjoyable family event, whilst also raising much needed funds for the chosen charities.
