Meeting Wednesday, 20th July at 9 p.m. in the Town Hall Arts Centre to proceed with a CBD Community/Revival Fund Draw to provide co funding to community enhancement and revival projects. A representative from Mayo LEADER will present on funding options and applications following this meeting.
Thanks to everyone who attended the CBD Development/Revival Fund Draw meeting last week. Options were provided regarding different draws and income potential to allow for co-funding local initiatives such as:
- Refurbishment of the Parochial/Town Hall Theatre : Meetings are being held with Mayo County Council Representatives to develop the plan for refurbishment
- Rebuilding of the Bushfield Ball Alley
- Paving at GAA/CBD Complex
- Annual Festival (a later request via a facebook post to also resurrect the Annual Temple Pattern
- Area enhancements and expansion of CCTV system, etc.
- Recommendations for College Scholarships
