A certified food hygiene training course will take place on Wednesday, 29th and Thursday, 30th March in Ballyhaunis Family Resource Centre.
This course maybe of interest to anyone wishing to pursue a career in the food industry. Or, perhaps to someone simply hoping to improve their knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
To be eligible for this funded training course under the Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme, the individual must fulfil certain criteria. Eligibility criteria is listed below:
- Over 18 years of age, living in the municipal district of Castlebar or Claremorris
- Unemployed
- Belong to the Traveller or Roma community
- One-parent family
- Living with a disability
- Migrant, refugee or asylum seeker
- Living on low income/underemployed
- Young person looking for a job or training
